What is our mission?
We are the International Collegiate Journal of Science (ICJS), a collaborative initiative started by students from the the Dartmouth Undergraduate Journal of Science (DUJS) from Dartmouth College and the Journal of Undergraduate Science and Technology (JUST) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Summer of 2020.
ICJS was brought into fruition in hopes of forming an international community to provide students the opportunity to enhance their science communication skills through full-length editorials, short news articles, data analytics projects, photographic submissions, and more! We believe that it’s vital for the public to understand new developments in the scientific world. Small as the effects of our individual efforts may be, being a part of our national science writing community allows students to contribute to the formation of a better-informed society - and learn, as they grow into careers in research, how to communicate their own work more effectively.
