What is our mission?
We are the International Collegiate Journal of Science (ICJS), a collaborative initiative started by students from the Dartmouth Undergraduate Journal of Science (DUJS) from Dartmouth College and the Journal of Undergraduate Science and Technology (JUST) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Summer of 2020.
ICJS was brought into fruition in hopes of forming an international community to provide students the opportunity to publish original research findings and enhance their science communication skills through full-length editorials, short news articles, data analytics projects, photographic submissions, and more! We believe that it’s vital for the public to learn about student research achievements and understand new developments in the scientific world. Small as the effects of our individual efforts may be, being a part of our international science writing community allows students to contribute to the formation of a better-informed society – and learn, as they grow into careers in research, how to communicate their own work more effectively.
