Writer Bio

I am a student at the University of Pittsburgh undergraduate class of 2023. I’m pursuing a premedical track with a double major in Biology and Philosophy with a minor in Chemistry and a Certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine.

I’m passionate about medical and scientific research; I’ve spent hundreds of hours working on research projects in the fields of oncology and immunology. After I graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, I hope to get my MD and eventually practice clinically with international organizations to gain a global perspective on how to provide the best care.

Research Interests

Tumor Immunology

I am interested in investigating the way that the body's immune systems react to and combat the presence of cancer in the body. My research has focused on the role that neutrophil extracellular traps play in the tumor microenvironment.

Transplant Rejection

I am in currently researching the effects that exercise has on the rates of graft rejection.

Social Justice in Connection with Medicine

I believe that there is a great need to pursue research with an emphasis towards subjects that are largely under researched minority groups.
