Writer Bio
I am a member of the Dartmouth College Class of 2024. I plan to double major in Neuroscience and Mathematics modified with Computer Science. I am also on the pre-health track. On campus, I write for the Dartmouth Undergraduate Journal of Science, and am also involved with the Dartmouth Center for Social Impact. Off campus, I volunteer with the Special Needs Support Center, and am a math tutor.
Research Interests
Neuroscience
I am most interested in neuroscience research. There are a vast number of neurological diseases and disorders that affect millions of people around the word that are not yet understood. I am interested in research that expands understanding of these disorders and their treatments.
Computer Science
I am very interested in both computational biology and computational neuroscience, as well as AI technology. I am passionate about how these fields will contribute to existing research and push the boundaries of current technology.
Genetics
I am very interested in how small genetic variants can influence phenotypes across the brain and body. Especially of interest to me are small genetic mutations that can decrease susceptibility to certain disorders, and their applicability as possible treatments.
